“GOD Spoke out of the Fire” The Bible tells us in Deuteronomy 4:12 & 13, that God spoke to His people from the midst of the fire and declared His Covenant; even the Ten Commandments that He wrote upon two tables of stone. How amazing to mentally visualize that God, Himself, spoke in such a spectacular, supernatural manner to His children to get their full attention.
We must, as truth seekers, ask, “WHY was giving this covenant so very important that God, Himself, spoke through the midst of the fire and wrote out His law on stone with His own finger? Will the answer to these important questions ONLY pertain to the Israelites who were alive at the time to witness these events? Or, are they so important that they are still binding for God’s people today?
