Lydia Was Touched by Christ
Recently, I was blessed to return a call to Lydia, a viewer from a Chicago suburb. I was in tears to learn that Lydia had been severely injured in a car wreck, in 2012, that left her a paraplegic. Lydia always had, and still has, a love for the truth and a desire to share the love of Jesus with others. However, after the accident, she found herself trapped in a body that could no longer function properly and she felt helpless, as she now was near totally dependent upon others for her every move. In prayer, she pleaded with God for help and mercy as she wondered how her daughter could continue to care and move her body every two to three hours, day and night. And she also wondered how she could continue to be a witness for her Lord in this situation. As she was praying, she felt two hands under her back lift her up into a sitting position. Stunned, she let herself fall back down. But again, she felt the two hands sit her back up! These “Two Precious Hands” that touched her began a healing in her body.
Later that evening when her daughter arrived from work to care for Lydia, Lydia was then able to sit up on her own as her daughter shouted with joy and wonderment as to what was happening! A few weeks later in the same hospital bed, she again felt the two hands under her back turn her body to her right side, and later, to her left side, which again brought further healing to the point that she is now able to walk with a walker—praise God! Lydia is certain that in some way Christ touched her and blessed her in answer to her prayers.
Lydia and Uber
Now Lydia eagerly shares the love of God with whomever she meets. One such gentlemen was an Uber driver. She was recently surprised when the Uber car that she was tracking was diverted and a second Uber car showed up in its place (God’s providence no doubt!). After entering the second car, she began sharing that Christ is returning soon. The driver said, “Yes, He certainly is.” She soon found out that he is a pastor. So she began talking about 3ABN and how much good information he could learn by watching the station. In fact, she mentioned that he should watch the 3ABN Sabbath School Panel this quarter and learn more about the book of Revelation. The driver quickly reached for his phone and with a couple of quick clicks, he showed her a picture of Pastor Kenny Shelton! He said, “I love watching this man. I watch and learn everything I can from him.”
Friends, we will never know the lives that have been touched by the messages from BTLM/3ABN this side of Heaven! But we continue to praise God for allowing us to be a part of the work that He is doing to prepare a people to live for eternity in Heaven and on the earth made new! We hope that this is YOUR desire and that you will continue to support this ministry with your prayers and financial giving as we labor together in the Lord’s vineyard for the saving of souls!!!!

Solemn Times
Indeed, these are incredibly solemn moments in earth’s history.
Many of us are old enough to realize how life in America, as well as many parts of the world, no longer accepts the moral compass, the Holy Bible, as its guide. This applies within, and without, the churches. Allow us, in clos- ing, to share this incredibly important and prophetic quote from, The Great Controversy, p. 655: “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture! … Behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings. … Jeremiah 23:1, 2; 25:34, 35.
“Ministers and people see that they have not sustained the right relation to God. They see that they have rebelled against the Author of all just and righteous law. The setting aside of the divine precepts gave rise to thousands of springs of evil, discord, hatred, iniquity, until the earth became one vast field of strife, one sink of corruption. …
“The people see that they have been deluded. They accuse one another of having led them to destruction; … Unfaithful pastors have prophesied smooth things; they have led their hearers to make void the law of God and to persecute those who would keep it holy. Now, in their despair, these teachers confess before the world their work of deception. The multitudes are filled with fury. ‘We are lost!’ they cry, ‘and you are the cause of our ruin;’ … The swords which were to slay God’s people are now employed to destroy their enemies. Everywhere there is strife and bloodshed.”
The worldly stage is being set for us to fully witness the results of Spiritual drunkenness. Together, let’s keep the LIGHT of TRUTH burning brightly so as to save as many as will hear!
